About Karl & Sue
Karl, the Gnome and Susan, the Gnomess, moved to the Bella Coola Valley in 1981 as educators. They built their R/V Park & Campground in 1992. Karl, a retired teacher and his wife, Susan, presently an elementary school principal, have enjoyed the lifestyle of the valley and share their insights of the history, pre-history and the ecology of the region with their guests. Karl and Susan are widely traveled and welcome overseas tourists to come and share their love of the valley. Hospitality is the key word at the Gnome's Home. Karl and Susan have created an establishment that reflects this philosophy.
